A Message from Mrs. Tarasiuk and Mrs. Sosin 5/4/18

It’s been another great week here at Einstein.  Each day, through the end of the school year, we celebrate with our ABC’s of Happiness calendar.  We are looking forward to students reaching out to include others, hearing jokes from their teachers, making cards for their lunch supervisors and sharing kindness with one another.  Don’t forget that May 11th is M: Multi-Color Day – wear as many colors as you can! Below is our MAP schedule for next week.  Our students have worked so hard to achieve their goals and we are looking forward to celebrating their successes with them.

The final round of MAP testing begins Monday, May 7th. We are excited to monitor the progress of the goals we set with your child earlier this year. Shortly after the conclusion of the MAP testing window, we will share the results with you.

News from the PTA
Teacher Appreciation Week will be the week of May 7th-May 11th and our PTA would love if you would help thank our wonderful staff at Einstein.

The PTA has a special week planned for the staff to thank them for the countless hours of hard work and dedication they put into our children.

This year we will have a Wizard of Oz themed luncheon on Tuesday, May 8th at which time the staff will be presented with a new microwave and Kuerig coffee machine for their lounge as a thank you.  Therefore on Thursday, May 10th, please show your support for our staff to let them know how OZ-SOME they are by sending your child to school with K-cup(s) to donate to the staff for use on their new Kuerig.  The K-cup could come with a note from your child letting them know why they think that staff member is OZ-SOME! We would really appreciate your help in making this day special for the staff so please consider helping and sending a K-cup or collection of K-cups with your child! This staff certainly deserves it!

The schedule for the staff is as follows and we are happy to show them so much support this year!

Monday- Munchkin Monday (Munchkin donuts will be provided to the staff)
Tuesday- Staff Luncheon
Wednesday- No event
Thursday- You are OZ-SOME!! Please bring a k-cup to school along with your note of gratitude to your favorite staff member or two.
Friday-Follow the Yellow Brick Road Concession Stand (Treats and goodies left in the teachers’ lounge)

None of this would be possible without your continued support.  If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Katie Kopecky at
