Dear Einstein Families,
As we begin the 20-21 school year, our commitment is to make connections with each of our families and the students who we serve. Our priority is to engage with your child each and every day utilizing our virtual curriculum as well as connecting with them in a social format. We will also support our students and families to ensure a successful school year because together, we are Einstein Strong.
We are committed to connecting, engaging, and supporting each and every one of our families!
Thank you Gabby for making our day brighter with these beautifully painted Kindness rocks!
We will be sharing them with our community. Be on the lookout for them!
August 10th– Teacher Assignments
On Monday, August 10th, families will be able to log into the parent portal to see their child’s classroom teachers. With all students starting the school year remotely, we will be assigning students to teachers at their base school. Kindergarteners will receive their teacher assignment after Kinder Screening. To set up a portal account, or if you have questions about the portal, email [email protected].
We are looking forward to our first opportunity to connect on August 18th and 19th during Material and Supply Pick Up.
We will distribute curriculum materials to students in Grades 1-6 on August 18th and August 19th. All families can remain in their vehicles. Einstein staff will be delivering supplies to your vehicles. Please write the names of your child(ren) on a piece of paper, to place on the side of you window. This will allow us to retrieve their materials quickly. Please open your trunks and we will directly place the materials inside. Pick-up times will be according to your child’s last name.
For incoming 3rd graders: please drop off your child’s iPad and charger from last year. We will exchange the iPad for your child’s new Chromebook.
Kindergarten curriculum material pick-up will be scheduled on August 25th from 9:00-10:00 and 2:00-3:00. Kinder families will pick up supplies as well as receive an iPad.

20-21 District Calendar – Updated
The 20-21 District Calendar was recently updated, and can be viewed here: 20-21 District Calendar. Please note the first day of school for Grades 1-6 is August 24, and the first day of school for Kindergarten is August 31.
Virtual Kindergarten Screenings
This year, we will be hosting all kindergarten screening appointments virtually. Our Kindergarten teachers have sent home letters with your child’s specific date and time. If you need to change your screening time, please email Amy Miskowicz at [email protected].
Several families have inquired about the supplies required for virtual learning.
We will be including wipe boards, wipe board markers, and erasers in your child’s supply pick-up.
The following materials would be beneficial for your students to have on hand during virtual learning:
K-2: pencils, 3 spiral notebooks (wide-ruled), colored pencils or crayons
3-6: pencils, 3 spiral notebooks (wide-ruled), 2 highlighters, post-its
If you need any support with obtaining school supplies, please reach out to our Social Worker, Michelle Carlson at [email protected].
