Einstein serves about 500 students in preschool through sixth grade. The school was built in 1974 and quickly added an addition to serve its expanding community.
Einstein has an active staff that has been the recipient of several outside grants, including the Verizon Foundation Grant and more than $40,000 in grants from the Schaumburg Township Elementary School Foundation throughout the past several years. As a result, students have the ability to participate in technologically advanced projects linking real-world learning and themselves to virtual-reality projects. The grants have also allowed teachers to receive additional professional development. Our leveled bookroom has also been improved through grant funds. Most recently our Roots and Shoots Club received a super grant to improve the area around Einstein School.
In addition to the excellent academic environment, Einstein teachers offer several enrichment opportunities for students such as the Roots and Shoots Club, Homework Club, Sports Club, Art Club and Student Patrols.
We have a myriad of services available to the students of our school community. Our early childhood program is designed to meet the needs of students that are at various developmental stages, including children with special needs.
This school was named after Albert Einstein, a famous physicist known for formulating the theory of relativity.
